2).Good heat resistance in cutting process: 

tools can produce a lot of heat, especially in cutting speed high, temperature will be high, therefore, cutting tool material should have good heat resistance, already under high temperature can still keep high hardness, have to continue cutting performance, this has the properties of high hardness, also known as hot rigid or red rigid.

3).High strength and good toughness properties:

in cutting process, the tool will take a lot of impact, so tool materials to with high strength, otherwise is easy to break and damage. By the differential impact and vibration, therefore, should also be provided good cutter material tenacity, it can't be easily collapse and the broken blade.
